I had the honor in taking Aliah’s senior session! We had our consultation over face time and she was pretty easy and laid back with what she wanted to do for her session. We talked about outfits and the original location was a little far so she asked about a location a little closer and I had the perfect place in mind. The week leading up to her shoot it rained! Wait what did I just say? Yes it rained, rained, rained! And here I was once again hoping for a clear sky for the day of her shoot!
The day of the shoot it was nice and sunny, and as I walked the whole area looking at what I wanted to use although I have shot there before, but wanted to utilize all the good areas that was dry. When Aliah arrived she was all smiles and she looked so pretty in her black dress. Her cousin who brought her, which is so funny because as Aliah and her aunt talked we both had older sons that graduated from the same school and on top of that her cousin played basketball with my son. Small world!
We started off at the front of the park and grabbed some great shots with her dress and added her cap and gown to some of the shots. One of the best things that I could have invested in was my pop up changing tent which seems to amaze everyone. It’s so much easier and so convenient for my clients to be able to change and not have to run back and forth to a restroom if there is one close by or to the car.
Aliah then changed into her next outfit where she had some flare bell bottom jeans and a white top, and we walked on around a little more into the park. The goal was to pretty much make a full circle around the park to each location and end up back at the front to finish off. We stopped at our stopping point and got the shots I needed there. Aliah was very easy going and easy to direct with the poses and she killed it every single time!
Aliah was such a joy to work with and I just love all the smiles she gave throughout her session giving her a vibrant, joyful, and beautiful session and gallery to view! Through the questionnaire that I send out I even gifted Aliah with some of her favorite goodies and a sign board!
These are just some of the gorgeous images from Aliah’s session. Read below what Aliah’s aunt had to say!
